Scholarship and Financial Aid Information

Our tuition rates represent a great value, but we realize that sometimes a little help is needed.  We will never turn away a talented musician from participating in FCYO due to lack of resources.  FCYO and FCCMS raise money each year to fund a tuition and lesson assistance fund for our students in cases of need.

Tuition scholarships work on a sliding scale against the cost of tuition.  The Federal Poverty guidelines are used to calculate the percentage of tuition scholarship.  In combination with teacher recommendations, supporting income statements, a statement from student and parent and a weighted instrument score, scholarships are awarded in September for the entire season.  Look under the “About/Financial” heading for the application.

Please note – the $50 tuition deposit is required regardless of any eventual scholarship award.
